The ALL-SIS Centennial Committee was charged to plan and carry out activities for the ALL-SIS membership to contribute to the AALL Centennial Celebration in 2006. Committee members began by looking back at the past to celebrate the milestones and accomplishments of academic law librarians during the past 100 years. Among our activities have been the following:
- An article by committee members Margaret Christiansen and Christopher Knott, Milestones in Academic Law Libraries, 9 AALL Spectrum 10-13 (July 2005).
- Inventory of Innovations and Firsts in academic law librarianship
- Survey of accomplishments, successes and innovations of academic law librarians
- Compilation of all published Annual Reports of past chairs of the ALL-SIS
Committee work will culminate in a celebration of academic librarians' contributions at the annual meeting in St. Louis!
