The American Association of Law Libraries: A Century of Leadership, 1906-2006

SCCLL-SIS Centennial Committee

Last fall, the SCCLL Special Committee on Centennial Celebration proposed an idea for an article in AALL Spectrum on the evolution of public access to legal information. The March 2006 issue of AALL Spectrum contains the article titled "The Evolution of Public Law Libraries" by committee members Laureen Adams and Regina Smith. Congratulations and thanks to these members for this excellent article! It is rich with the history of public law libraries and has thoughtful evaluation of their mission and funding issues.

SCCLL Centennial Committee Program: Making the Impossible Possible
