2000-Racial and Sexual Intolerance
The Committee on Diversity's 5th Annual Symposium will be held in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, July 15th 2000 from 2:30pm - 4:30 pm. The annual Symposiums are an opportunity for AALL members to come together and discuss the many critical issues related to diversity in society. The topic of this year's Symposium is on Racial and Sexual Intolerance. Rita Addessa, Carl Baker, and William Gonzalez will lead us in an exploration of this topic. The Symposium will be immediately followed by a Roundtable on Diversity leadership. Frank Liu, a member of the AALL Executive Board, will speak. The Diversity Reception will be held from ? p.m.- ? pm. There is no charge for the Symposium or the Reception, but reservations are requested, due to space constraints.
