Annual Reports of the Public Relations Committee

1978-1979

In June 1978, our Committee established beginning goals for the year:

1. Discover what AALL Chapters are doing in the way of PR work, and how can we work with them to develop this field of AALL.

2. Begin collecting publicity and news about our Association and its members.

3. Most importantly, begin systematic development of publicity and public relations for AALL.

In 1978 and 1979 we have exhibited at the American Bar Association annual meetings. This has successfully let attorneys know about our members and our association. We also will begin work on press releases after election results are in to announce the results. We also hope to generate publicity about our annual meetings and activities. This is a new, developing area for AALL which we hope will grow each year, bringing AALL increasingly into the spotlight.
