1987-1988 Public Relations CommitteeCommittee members executed a well-attended program on beginning public relations for the annual meeting in Chicago. The Committee prepared and submitted to the Board a proposal delineating the public relations needs of the Association, ranked in order of implementation for headquarters. The proposal was accepted, and all publicity for AALL will now be arranged by the Executive Director. In accordance with the report of the Committee on Committees, the Public Relations Committee will cease to exist after this Atlanta meeting.
The Committee continued its attempts to collect public relations materials prepared by chapters for its clearinghouse and effected its transfer to headquarters staff.
