Excitement filled the air as law librarians from across the country arrived in Seattle for the 2013 AALL Annual Meeting & Conference. This is the one time of year that many friends and colleagues get to see each other and catch up on what's going on in their libraries and communities.
Saturday kicked off with three pre-conference workshops, the Conference of Newer Law Librarians, Legislative Advocacy Training, the Private Law Librarians Summit, and an abundance of leadership training and committee meetings. President Jean M. Wenger and the AALL Executive Board cut the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the 2013 Exhibit Hall, filled with over 160 booths representing about 90 companies.
The Opening Reception was the perfect event to connect with AALL members from far and wide. Attendees had a chance to learn about resources from vendors in the Exhibit Hall and meet up with friends, ready to move on to more evening receptions and dine-arounds in Seattle.
