Making Your Future Happen

Join luncheon keynote speaker Andy Hines, as he builds a bridge to the “real world” by examining lessons futurists have learned in helping clients to change their future. While resistance to change is typical, it’s not insurmountable. Providing a framework for understanding your audience and their views of change and the future, Hines will emphasize the need to be more strategic in how we introduce and create change and future thinking. Learn about the types of change and different timeframes of change—not all change is created equal! Highlighting examples of how organizations have successfully introduced change and futures thinking, Hines will share some key principles for creating change, acknowledge the inevitable resistance, and provide tools and concepts for making the journey smoother—at least, as smooth as it can be. You can make change and thinking about the future a regular feature of your own organization.
