Dine Around

Looking for a group event? The Local Advisory Hospitality Committee will host "Dine Arounds." On Tuesday evening, July 17, you can meet new colleagues while dining at one of Minneapolis' restaurants. Visit the Hospitality Booth to make your reservation. Space is limited so make your plans early.

A MALL member will guide each group to their Dine Around choice. All restaurants are within walking distance of the Convention Center.

  • Brasserie Zinc, 1010 Nicollet Mall
$$ ($10-$20) excluding tax and tip, based on the cost of one entree. This sophisticated yet casual Mediterranean brasserie overlooking Nicollet Mall features traditional French cuisine. Atmosphere is festive but not loud, classy but not stuffy.
  • Cafe Un Deux Trois, 114 Ninth St. S.
$$$ ($20-$30). Located in the historic Foshay Tower, this Big-Apple-style bistro boasts faux-marble walls and columns, sophisticated furnishings, and high, high ceilings. Diners dress up or down and order pate and a cup of soup or course after course of exquisitely prepared food. Mais oui!
  • Buca di Beppo, 1204 Harmon Place
$$ ($10-$20). The Southern Italian food is great and arrives family-style on platters. The walls are exposed brick or painted a warm, Tuscan gold; the tablecloths are red-and-white-checked; and the wooden booths are high and old-fashioned.
  • Rock Bottom Brewery, 825 Hennepin Ave.
(~$20). Beers are brewed in dramatically huge copper vats set in the middle of the restaurant giving the entire place a warm and cozy glow. Arrangements have been made for a special beer tasting and dinner. There will be a number of imaginative courses, each accompanied by a beer selected to complement the food. Good beer like good wine enhances the dining experience. Todd Haug, the head brewer at Rock Bottom, will talk about each of the beers and why they pair well with specific food.
