Orlando and Central Florida - VIRTUAL TOUR Universal's Islands of Adventure Universal's Islands of Adventure is the newest theme park in Orlando - located adjacent to Universal Studios Orlando. Each of the five distinct "islands" brings comic book and movie characters to life. Begin your adventure at the Port of Entry, filled with street vendors, merchants and traders in the Bazaar. Young children will enjoy Seuss Landing and Toon Lagoon (the wacky world of Popeye and other animated cartoon characters). Adults and older children will find lots of thrills and excitement in The Lost Continent and Jurassic Park. For the real thrill seekers, there's Dueling Dragons, the world's first inverted dual-track "near-miss" roller coaster - soaring 125 feet in the air and reaching speeds of 55+ mph!
