Orlando and Central Florida - VIRTUAL TOUR
This 840 acre park is actually TWO colossal theme parks filled with amazing thrill rides, attractions, shopping, dining and live entertainment. Located adjacent to the newer Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Orlando is where you "ride the movies" (like Men in Black Alien Attack, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and Terminator 2: 3-D) -- or experience Animal Planet Live. It is also a working film studio which produces commercials, television shows and movies. Both theme parks are open 9AM - 10PM daily in July (park hours and information online). Guest Services also answers visitors' frequently asked questions. Separate admission for each park; the 2-day admission good at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios is recommended. If all this fun makes you hungry, no problem - you've got lots of choices at Universal Studios. CityWalk, Universal's answer to Downtown Disney and Disney's Pleasure Island, is one of Orlando's hottest night spots for live entertainment, food and fun. Themed venues include Hard Rock Live (cafe and concert hall), Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, NBA City, the NASCAR Cafe, Bob Marley's Tribute to Freedom, and the Motown Cafe. For fine dining, Emeril's is not to be missed.
