Arguably one of Boston’s biggest tourist stops, this is the original
pub upon which the NBC television series “Cheers” was based.
The outside sports a staircase leading down into what looks just like
the outside of the TV bar, but it looks nothing like Sam’s bar

your picture with life size cardboard stand-ups of the characters.

and their motto is “Good Food in Good Conscience”. Chef
Didi Emmons serves an all pizza menu at cheap, cheap prices. Nightly
folk concerts can be expected in this basement coffeehouse. If you aren’t
there for the show, seating can be sparse. A better idea might be to
get your pizzas to-go and enjoy a picnic at the nearby river or park.
