Arguably one of Boston’s biggest tourist stops, this is the original pub upon which the NBC television series “Cheers” was based. This place calls itself the “Innovative Vegetarian Pizzeria” and their motto is “Good Food in Good Conscience”. Chef Didi Emmons serves an all pizza menu at cheap, cheap prices. Nightly folk concerts can be expected in this basement coffeehouse. If you aren’t there for the show, seating can be sparse. A better idea might be to get your pizzas to-go and enjoy a picnic at the nearby river or park.
