Grants Program

AALL Grants

The Grants Program financially assists librarians who hold promise of future involvement in the law library profession. Grants cover registration costs at either the Annual Meeting or workshops.

Foreign, Comparative & International Law (FCIL-SIS) Schaffer Grant for Foreign Law Librarians

The purpose of the FCIL Schaffer Foreign Librarian's Grant ("Schaffer Grant") is to provide financial assistance to ensure the presence and participation of foreign librarians at the AALL Annual Meeting. Foreign attendees enrich AALL events by sharing global perspectives to the benefit of all participants.

Marla Schwartz Grant, funded by the Technical Services Special Interest Section

To honor the memory and professional achievements of Marla Schwartz, grants will be given to applicants who either are in library graduate school or are new to law librarianship. The grants will enable them to participate in the work of AALL and begin to build professional networks by supporting their attendance at the annual meeting or an AALL-sponsored conference or workshop.
