I am urging all members to vote in the 2013 Executive Board election. Polls are open and we need you to participate. The election is your opportunity to help shape the future of our profession.
We have a slate of dedicated members who have agreed to be on the ballot and, if elected, commit their time and talent to moving our profession forward. As we all know, the last several years have brought fundamental changes to the legal profession and business of law. These changes have served as an opportunity for law libraries to transform their operations and services in varied and profound ways. It is now imperative we continue to adapt to this changing landscape, and we need a strong AALL Executive Board in support of the profession.
The elected members of the board represent you and your interests so it is important to learn more about the candidates before voting by reading their biographies and statements.
So, please stand up for the profession and vote in the Executive board election. The polls opened November 1 and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. EST, Monday, December 2.
The election can be found at https://vote.aallnet.org/AALL/. To access the ballot, please log in with your email address and your unique voting PIN, which was emailed to you November 1. Please note this PIN does NOT replace your AALLNET password. Your unique voting PIN can only be used to vote in this election.
If you can not find your voting PIN, you can retrieve it here. For additional assistance, please contact Chris Siwa at AALL HQ at firstname.lastname@example.org or 312/205-8030.
Thank you for voting!
Steven P. Anderson
