Emerging Technology Librarian
 
The primary purpose of this position is to explore and evaluate web 2.0 tools and other technologies for potential library and law school use, assisting law faculty with using these tools to enhance the classroom learning experience.
 
Responsibilities:
Provide individual training on Web 2.0 tools and other information resources; work to continue creating and developing library podcasts; responsible for creating and updating the law library blog and assisting other departments with the creation of their own blogs; develop and maintain the library’s presence on social networking sites and virtual worlds; assist with reference/instructional services and with the coordination of the AV/Media services.
 
Required:
JD from an accredited ABA School and M.L.S. from accredited library school
 
Preferred:
Knowledge of and experience working with emerging technologies such as blogs, wikis, social networks, and virtual worlds.
 
Salary and Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
