The deadline for registering a chapter VIP for the AALL meeting in Portland is May 15. The registration forms should be sent to Kim Rundle at AALL Headquarters.
Oregon Convention Center
As you make plans to attend the AALL annual meeting in Portland, remember that you may have to use the FREE light rail transportation from hotels to the Oregon Convention Center. The distance to the AALL hotels and whether they are within walking distance or require use of the light rail is included with the information about hotel registration. You may want to remind chapter members who plan to attend AALL that they need to keep this in mind when working on their schedules.
The chapter biography form has been revised. There will be a link from the Chapter Resources section of AALLNET. The chapter name, chapter acronym, chapter approved date and chapter website URL can only be edited at AALL Headquarters. All other information can be edited online. I'll send a message to the chapter leadership list as soon as it's available for updating.
