Preliminary Program in the mail: AALL 2000 Annual Meeting and Conference

The Preliminary Program for the 2000 AALL Annual Meeting & Conference in
Philadelphia was mailed to all members on Thursday, March 16, 2000. The
Preliminary Program contains full descriptions of the 70+ educational
programs and workshops; a chronological schedule of meetings, programs, and
events; information about library tours and sightseeing excursions; as well
as registration, housing, and travel information and forms. The Preliminary
Program is mailed bulk rate and you should receive your copy by April 15.

The registration and housing forms are also available - now - on AALLNET at
http://www.aallnet.org/events/. The documents are formatted as PDF files and may be downloaded and printed for sending by fax or mail. See below for the mailing address and fax number for the registration form.

REGISTRATION
Registration services for the 2000 Annual Meeting & Conference are new and
improved.
Registrants for the 2000 AALL Annual Meeting & Conference will receive
confirmation of registration via e-mail. (If an e-mail address is not
provided, confirmation will be sent by fax or, in lieu of the other options,
by surface mail.)
Badges and tickets will be mailed to registrants beginning in mid-June and
will be mailed to all individuals registered before July 1.
REGISTER ON-LINE AFTER APRIL 1
Registrants will also be able to register on-line through a link from the
AALL Web site at http://www.aallnet.org/events/ after April 1.
If you are pre-registered, when you arrive on-site at the Pennsylvania
Convention Center please visit the registration desk to pick up your
badgeholder, lanyard, ribbons, and your packet of conference materials.
Changes to badges may be made on-site. On-site registration service will be
available.
Registration for the meeting will be managed by Convention Data Services,
Inc., a company specializing in meeting and convention registration and data
management.
