AALL Spectrum Article of the Year Award to be Presented to Ann Walsh Long

The American Association of Law Libraries is pleased to announce that Ann Walsh Long, reference and electronic services librarian at West Virginia University College of Law Library, is the 2001 recipient of the AALL Spectrum Article of the Year Award.

Long's award-winning article, "Get Your Library Ready for Distance Education," discusses the challenges of distance education in the law library environment. The article appeared in the May 2000 issue of the AALL Spectrum.

The award honors outstanding writing achievement as represented by a work published in the AALL Spectrum. A cash prize of $500, donated by CCH Incorporated, accompanies the award.

The award will be presented during the 94th AALL Annual Meeting and Conference at the Association Luncheon July 16 in Minneapolis.
