Wanted: Members Needed to Complete Online Survey About Benefits

What benefits do you think would enhance AALL membership? Convey your opinions and suggestions about the types of new member benefits AALL should offer--complete the online member benefits survey by Nov. 8.

Appointed by AALL President Barbara Bintliff, AALL's Special Committee on Benefits for AALL Members is using the survey to "investigate and recommend a range of ancillary benefits that could be offered to members of AALL at no cost to the Association." The committee is considering benefits such as insurance/supplemental insurance coverage, credit cards, car rental discounts, airline discounts, book jobber discounts and library supply discounts. The committee might also look into forming partnerships with other associations to increase the number of programs available.

The committee will explore a variety of options for new member benefits over the next few months and report its findings to the Executive Board in April 2002.
