Annual Meeting News Show Goes Online

Did you miss AALL's 95th Annual Meeting and Conference? Or do you just want to relive some of the meeting's memorable moments? The daily news broadcast that covered the action at the AALL Annual Meeting is now online at http://www.aallnet.org/events/ (click on the "AALL Newsline: Orlando"banner).

Legal publisher West partnered with AALL to produce "AALL Newsline: Orlando," the daily news show about the AALL Annual Meeting that debuted in Orlando. The program reported on the meeting's many speakers and programs, innovative AALL members, social events, and exhibitors during all four days of the conference. Some of the items featured on the program included interviews with "AALL Innovators," such as Marvin Anderson, Minnesota state law librarian, and Janet Accardo, law library manager at Skaden Arps in New York City; highlights from the West party at the Hard Rock Café; comments from conference attendees at the Exhibit Hall; Association news, including updates from the AALL Copyright Committee and the Committee on Relations with Information Vendors; and a preview of the next year's Annual Meeting in Seattle.

"AALL Newsline" was televised July 21-24 on the hospitality channels of the four conference hotels and at the Orange County Convention Center.
