Good morning all,

I see Georgia got her welcome message posted last night....I'm a little late
in welcoming you to this moderated discussion. On behalf of the AALL
Professional Development Committee, a belated Welcome!

Georgia and Jean have both been through system migrations, so you won't find
anyone better to discuss the process, problems and pitfalls of such a task.
But as well, they will no doubt help you to make your own migration process
go as smoothly as possible. There is nothing like having an experienced
guide, or two, when you are approaching unfamiliar territory.

Georgia did mention the "west coast issue"...please don't be afraid to post
questions, comments, and insight throughout the day. Georgia and Jean will
catch up and continue topics into the next day if necessary. Topics can be
revisited throughout the week....don't be bashful!
