You have mentioned a variety of services. The various library
publication, summaries and tracking services seem to be
particularly relevant to your users and valued by them. This seems
to be the very essence of knowledge management and value added
services.

County, barrister, state court and law firm librarians have
mentioned preparing and providing these services. I'd like to ask a
couple of questions about both content and users of these services.

1) Are most libraries, academic as well, providing these type of
tailored summary and tracking services mentioned by Kathy
Carlson (Wyoming State Law Library), Connie Crosby (Barristers &
Solicitors, Toronto), Claudia Jalowka- (CT Judicial Branch Law
Libraries), Juliana Hayden (U.S. Court of Appeals Library NH)?

2) Are other libraries using focus groups or surveying patrons to
determine whether they want these services, or continue to find
them useful ( as mentioned by Jean Willis (San Diego County Law
Library)?
