I'd like to echo everyone's comments about how helpful this week's
discussion has been. It really does make a difference when you remember you
are not alone. And it is energizing to share stories and ideas. Thank you,
Amy, for being our "fearless leader"!
My responses are below.

ideas about how to handle problem patrons, ideas for finding time & selling
classes
> 2. Did you post to the listserv or did you just read? If you posted,

I posted maybe three or four times -- I think it may be the first time I've
done more than "lurk" on one of these lists!

I forwarded many of the postings to my colleagues here at the library. I
printed out some of the policies which were shared for future reference.

Yes, though I don't always manage to keep up with the reading. The last one
I was on fell victim to an e-mail loop. Unfortunately, I can't remember
much more about it, though I did think it was good at the time and that
Rosalie Sanderson did a good job, especially considering all the technical
difficulties.

Yes, I would participate in the future, depending on the topic and how much
time it takes up. Actually, I liked the fact that this list did not become
"overwhelming." Useful information was shared, and I think we got to
brainstorm a little, but I wasn't afraid my inbox would shut-down. Is there
any possibility that the lists could be limited to the first X number of
subscribers?

I thought Amy did a fantastic job. Yes.
