Customary and Religious Law Interest Group

The newly-formed Customary and Religious Law Interest Group (CARLIG) discusses customary law of the world, such as the law of indigenous peoples, nation states, and religions, including Halakha, Sharia, Anglican, and Catholic Canon Law.

Planned activities include blogging, webinars, and AALL Annual Meeting programming.

Our first meeting to shape the direction of this group (even including a possible name change for CARLIG -- Romanian for "hook"  -- have we caught your interest?) will be held in San Antonio at the Sunday morning (7-8:30 am) FCIL-SIS Subject Groups meeting. Hope to see you there!
