OBS-SIS Committees

The real work of the Online Bibliographic Services SIS happens in committees and in the meetings and programs they present at the annual conference. Committee membership is open to anyone in the SIS, with individuals appointed from those who indicate their interest in the annual survey.

Education Committee

Develops proposals for annual meeting programs

Local Systems Committee

Discusses issues involving local online systems from a variety of vendors

Nominating Committee

Selects the slate for the annual election

OBS/TS Joint Research Grant Committee

Administers the research grant program

OCLC Committee

OBS-SIS members who are interested in OCLC products and services

Web Advisory Committee

Maintains the OBS-SIS website
