Christy Ryan, Public Services/Serials Law Librarian from the Taliaferro Savage Library at the University of Tulsa School of Law, received a TS-SIS Education Grant to attend the Intermediate Cataloging for Law Libraries workshop to be held July 19-20, 2002 in Orlando, Florida. In March 2002, Christy attended the Basic Law Cataloging workshop held in Chicago. Her colleagues consider Christy to be a promising law librarian, and believe that "she will attend eagerly, absorb new knowledge readily, and share it and use it upon her return."
Cindy Buhi, who works in the Washington State Attorney General's Law Library, received a TS-SIS Education Grant to attend the Basic Law Cataloging Workshop held in Chicago, Illinois, March 1-3, 2002.
Wendy Medvetz, Acquisitions/Serials Librarian at Capital University Law Library, is the first recipient of the TS-SIS Education Grant. Read her report on the New Perspectives in Law Library Acquisitions and Collection Development Workshop she attended at American University School of Law in Washington, D.C., November 2-3, 2001.
