Green Line - E Trains

Northeastern is accessible by subway via the E branch of the Green Line of the MBTA.
From downtown Boston, take an outbound train (toward Heath Street) from the Prudential T stop (which can be accessed via the Shops at Prudential) for two stops to the Northeastern T stop. The Northeastern T stop is the first stop above ground. Walk up Huntington Avenue to the intersection of Forsyth Street. The law school is on the corner of Huntington and Forsyth. Enter the law school from the Huntington Avenue entrance, walk up a half flight of stairs and take the elevator to the 3rd floor.

Note: The Prudential T stop does not have a toll collector at the station; you must pay the $1.25 fare in exact change as you board the train.

Green Line – B, C, or D Trains

From the Hynes Convention Center/ICA station near the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Newbury Street take any inbound train to Arlington station. Disembark the train, walk up the stairs from the platform and without leaving the station, follow the signs to the platform for outbound trains. Take an outbound E train (heading towards Heath Street) four stops to Northeastern. The Northeastern T stop is the first stop above ground.
Walk up Huntington Avenue to the intersection of Forsyth Street. The law school is on the corner of Huntington and Forsyth. Enter the law school from the Huntington Avenue entrance, walk up a half flight of stairs and take the elevator to the 3rd floor.

Returning from Northeastern on the Green Line, the fare is collected as you board the train and exact change in coin (no bills) is required

Orange Line
Northeastern can also be reached from downtown via the Orange Line by taking any outbound train (Forest Hills) and getting off at Ruggles Street Station. After exiting the turnstiles, turn to the left and use the exit marked Northeastern. Walk up Forsyth Street and the law school will be on your left at the corner of Forsyth and Huntington Avenue. Enter the law school from the Huntington Avenue entrance, walk up a half flight of stairs and take the elevator to the 3rd floor.

By Bus

The #39 bus is another option. Travelers may board this MBTA Bus at Back Bay T station as well as at the Huntington Avenue side of the Prudential building near Marche and the Cheesecake Factory. Get off at the stop on Huntington Avenue by Au Bon Pain which is diagonally across the street from the law school block. Bus fares start at $.90. Walking from Hynes Convention Center (a little over a mile)

Walk up Boylston Street to Massachusetts Avenue. Take a left onto Mass. Ave. and go past the Berkelee College of Music, the Christian Science Church complex and Symphony Hall. Continue on Mass. Ave. the intersection of Huntington Avenue. Take a right onto Huntington Avenue and continue on until the intersection of Forsyth Street. You'll see an Au Bon Pain restaurant in a glass walled complex called the Marino Center. Diagonally across the street from Au Bon Pain you'll see the Northeastern Law School building. Enter the law school from the Huntington Avenue entrance. Walk up a half flight of stairs and take the elevator to the library entrance on the 3rd
