Are you a newer academic law librarian or do you know somebody who is new to the field? If so, then this event is for you. The Academic Law Libraries Special Interest Section (ALL-SIS) is pleased to present the Newer Academic Law Librarian's Meeting (NALLM) to help introduce newer academic law librarians to the field. Do yourself a favor and mark this event on your Annual Meeting calendar and allow yourself a proper introduction to academic law librarianship. Members of the NALLM/Mentoring Committee and the ALL-SIS Board will discuss common questions and concerns raised by new academic law librarians. The Panel discussion will be followed by an open discussion/question and answer session and small breakout groups. If you are new to the field, you won't want to miss all of the inside scoop on trends in academic law librarianship or tips on getting more involved with ALL-SIS.

The event is conveniently scheduled right before the ALL-SIS Reception and Awards Ceremony, allowing newer members the opportunity to become acquainted prior to this gathering. Both events will be held at the Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law. Always an effective "ice-breaker," NALLM provides the newest members of ALL-SIS and their mentors a chance to learn more about ALL-SIS, network with colleagues, and make new friends. We hope to see you all there!
