ALL-SIS will be hosting two VIPs during the 2007 AALL Annual Meeting:
- Allen Easley, President and Dean of William Mitchell College of Law and the current Chair of the ABA Questionnaire Committee
- Dan Freehling, formerly Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Information Services at the Pappas Law Library at Boston University and the current Deputy Consultant of the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar
On Sunday morning, July 15th, they will attend our business meeting and briefly address us on recent ABA developments affecting academic law libraries, including changes to the annual questionnaire and findings of the recent ABA Task Force on Accreditation. That evening they will join us at our reception at Loyola Law School.
The AALL VIP program offers an opportunity for us to “learn by sharing, discussing, and collaborating in the wider community affected by information management and technology issues.” Please make a point of welcoming our distinguished guests and let them know your suggestions and concerns.
