Nancy P. Johnson Receives 2009 Hicks Award
Nancy P. Johnson, Law Librarian and Professor of Law at the Georgia State University College of Law (resume), will receive the 2009 Frederick Charles Hicks Award for Outstanding Contributions to Academic Law Librarianship, sponsored by the Academic Law Libraries SIS (ALL-SIS).
The Hicks Award recognizes an individual or group who has made outstanding contributions to academic law librarianship through continued efforts to improve the profession. Presentation of the award will take place at the ALL-SIS reception on Sunday, July 26, 2009.
The 2008–2009 ALL-SIS Awards committee consisted of Patricia Harris O'Connor, Western State University College of Law Library, Chair; Linda Barrette, Florida A&M University; Matt Morrison, Cornell University Law Library; Michelle Rigual, University of New Mexico Law Library; Jason Sowards, Wake Forest University Professional Center Library; and Ronald Wheeler, Georgia State University College of Law Library.
