PRINT CITATORS:
FIRST YEAR LAW CURRICULUM INSTRUCTION CHART

Recently print citator instruction has become a concern for legal research instructors. With the prevalence of electronic citators, those involved in instruction of legal research often wonder if print citator instruction is still pertinent. In the latter part of 2002, the ALL-SIS Legal Research Committee surveyed academic law libraries to determine whether law schools still provide instruction on how to use print citators. In response, the commitee learned that out of the 52 responding institutions, 13 no longer teach print citators. What follows are the specific responses from the responding institutions. For additional analysis and discussion of this topic, see Jennifer S. Murray, "Print Citator Instruction: What to Do?", 95 Law Library Journal 139 (2003).
