Fresh from the telegraph office, these bits of news from our colleagues should brighten our days.
They're definitely keeping the campfires burning...
- Mark Lambert, Special Collections and Government Documents Librarian at the South Texas College
of Law Library in Houston, has been awarded a research fellowship by the Texas State Historical
Association. Funds from the "Stephen F. Austin Old Three Hundred Research Fellowship" will assist
Mr. Lambert as he travels to various Texas archives, preparing a scholarly article on the life of
Moses Austin Bryan, a significant 19th-century Texan.
- Barbara Bintliff of the University of Colorado Law Library is a member of the 1999-2000
Executive Board for the Research Instruction & Patron Services SIS of AALL.
- Al Dong, Law Reference Librarian at the University of Denver, wrote "Uncovering Colorado
Legislative Law-Making and Legislative Intent" for Colorado Libraries, 25:3, Fall 1999.
