"EASI Consulting provides post-secondary education institutions guidance
to help make their campus's information technology resources accessible
to people with disabilities. These resources include instructional software,
library on-line services, on-line student services including registration,
administrative computing, and hard-copy print materials. EASI Consulting's
expertise is in planning, policy, budgeting, technical support, and
training. EASI consulting also provides guidance to enhance support
services to students, faculty and staff with disabilities to facilitate use
of adaptive computer-based reading and writing tools in academic and

Online Training
"EASI is the premiere provider of online training on adaptive technology
and how institutions can provide barrier-free computer and information
technology systems for persons with disabilities. These courses can be taken
either individually for continuing education units or a package of 5 courses
can earn the participant the Certificate in Accessible Information Technology
offered in partnership with the University of Southern Maine." Check online

is charged with providing accessibility training and technical assistance related
to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 255 of the Telecommunications
Act. We want to help our audiences – industry, state officials, trainers, and
consumers – to understand the requirements of Sections 508 and 255 and to
achieve success in their efforts to develop, market, and buy accessible E&IT."
