Government Documents Special Interest Section


Application for Veronica Maclay Student Grant

Purpose: The purpose of the Government Documents Special Interest Section Veronica Maclay Student Grant is to financially assist a student currently enrolled in an ALA accredited library and information studies master's program in attending the 2008 AALL Annual Meeting & Conference. The Annual Meeting will take place July 12-15 in Portland, Oregon. Preference will be given to those individuals who demonstrate an interest in government information and a career in law libraries. One letter of recommendation from a faculty member or AALL member is required for consideration.

The web form below will automatically submit your electronic application to ALL Grant Committee members.

Application deadline is Friday, May 2, 2008.

I agree that if for any reason I will not be able to use any grant monies awarded, I will return the grant money to the AALL Government Documents Special Interest Section. I further agree to furnish receipts documenting my attendance and expenses at the meeting within 30 days of my return. Photocopies will suffice. I will submit a written summary of the meetings attended for inclusion in the next issue of JURISDOCS, the newsletter of the AALL Government Documents Special Interest Section.
