![]() Government Documents Special Interest SectionSpring 2009 The Grants Committee of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Government Documents Special Interest Section (GD-SIS) has recently awarded an $800 travel grant to an attendee of the Spring Depository Library Programs Conference. The 2009 spring conference was held in Tampa, FL, April 20-22, 2009. The grant has been made to Camilla Tubbs, Reference Librarian and Lecturer in Legal Research at the Yale University Lillian Goldman Library. Congratulations Camilla! The American Association of Law Libraries was founded in 1906 to promote and enhance the value of law libraries to the legal and public communities, to foster the profession of law librarianship, and to provide leadership in the field of legal information. The Government Documents SIS (GD-SIS) was established in 1974 to disseminate information on government documents to AALL members, to further the continuing education of law librarians in documents librarianship, to coordinate the activities of law librarians in representing their interests to public and private groups, and to work in cooperation with documents groups in other associations and organizations.
