Electronic Publications
  • Consist of CD-ROMs, floppy diskettes, and videotapes
  • Arrive in same boxes as paper documents
  • Lists are labeled as follows: Shipping List Year-Sequential Number-E.  For example:

    2000-0001-E

Separates
  • Materials not sent to depositories in regular shipment boxes
  • May be too large for regular boxes or need special handling before shipment
  • Mailed to depository libraries when received by GPO
  • Shipments may arrive before or after their shipping lists
  • Shipping lists arrive in the depository boxes
  • Libraries often place separates on a holding shelf in shipping list order pending receipt of the lists
  • Lists are labeled SL Year-Sequential Number-S
