Parts of a SuDocs Class Number

	The SuDocs class number can be divided into three major elements:
	Author symbol Series designation Book number
	The author symbol and series designation come BEFORE THE COLON. Together, they make up the class stem.
	The book number--the part that FOLLOWS THE COLON--gives the publication its unique identification.
