Committees

The real work of the Online Bibliographic Services SIS happens in committees and in the meetings and programs they present at the annual conference. Committee membership is open to anyone in the SIS, with individuals appointed from those who indicate their interest in the annual survey.

• Education Committee - works on proposals for annual meeting programs

• Local Systems Committee - discussion of issues involving local online systems from a variety of vendors

• Nominating Committee - selects the slate for the annual election

• OBS/TS Joint Research Grant Committee - administers research grant program

• OCLC/RLIN Committee - discussion of OCLC and RLIN issues

• Web Advisory Committee - maintains the OBS-SIS website
