Discussion Forum

The OBS-SIS Discussion Forum, or listserv, provides an easy method for our members to communicate with each other via email. Members should feel free to post messages on any relevant topic. OBS-SIS officers and committee chairs will also occasionally issue broadcasts regarding AALL or OBS-SIS issues.

The forum is managed using Lyris software on the AALLNET server. There is a very complete web page that makes it easy to subscribe, unsubscribe, view message archives, and other options:

This is a general web interface for all the AALL discussion forums. The software is fully documented, just click the question mark icon on any page for detailed information.

HOW TO SEND MESSAGES TO THE DISCUSSION FORUM:

Send your e-mail to: obs-sis@aallnet.org

This will send your message to all forum subscribers. The most common mistake is to send subscribe or unsubscribe messages directly to the list address. All requests to subscribe or unsubscribe should be done using the web page.
