  • PLL Perspectives: The PLL has published a quarterly newsletter, PLL Perspectives, since 1989. You can find links to the issues on this page. Members are encouraged to suggest topics. PLL Resource Guides

These resource guides were created by commmittees of experienced and dedicated legal information professionals, and were officially released at the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Conference in July 2011. The resource guides are now being used by thousands of law firm management personnel, law librarians, legal researchers, knowledge managers, and records managers across the United States as best practice resources about theories, principles and techniques of various aspects of law library management or legal information setting management in the 21 Century.

Digital White Paper on "The New Librarian"

AALL and the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) published a joint digital white paper, "The New Librarian." The white paper acknowledges the strategic alliance that has developed between law librarians and technologists in driving efficient and effective legal information management. We applaud the many PLL members contributed to this paper.
