Annual Meeting: SCCLL Reception Scheduled
Sunday, July 11, 2010
6:30 p.m.
Wynkoop Brewing Company
1634 18th Street
Denver
The SCCLL reception this year will be at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, Colorado's oldest brew pub.
This year the reception will be a little different than those we have had in the past. SCCLL did not receive any sponsorship assistance for the reception. The Board determined that there were sufficient funds to purchase some food but that due to the restrictions most government entities have regarding the purchase of alcohol, decided that drinks would need to be purchased individually. The Wynkoop is placing us in a room near a bar that will make it fairly simple for those who want to purchase some of their specialty brews [or whatever].
The Wynkoop is about a mile from the convention center but it is easy to get to by the 16th Street Mall bus (a free shuttle). Maps and directions will be provided at Sunday morning’s SCCLL breakfast or you can ask at the Convention Hospitality Desk since the Wynkoop is a Denver landmark.
Further information about the restaurant can be found at: http://www.wynkoop.com/.
