Business Meeting

The TS-SIS Business Meeting will be held July 17, 2005, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the San Antonio-Marriott in the Rivercenter-Salon (M). Get a copy of the agenda.

Bylaws Revision and Strategic Plan

Drafts of revised TS-SIS bylaws and a new TS-SIS strategic plan will be discussed and voted upon at the TS-SIS business meeting in San Antonio. Please print copies and bring them with you. If you will not be in San Antonio, you may email comments to Cindy May (clmay [at] wisc.edu) for inclusion in the business meeting discussion.

The Technical Services Special Interest Section is sponsoring an activities table in the Exhibit Hall at the 2005 AALL Annual Meeting in San Antonio. It's fun to be at the table to meet your old friends and greet new colleagues who come by to see what makes TS The SPECIAL Interest Section that it is! Stop by and register to win a handmade quilt or scarf.

Program Ideas for 2006 Annual Meeting in St. Louis

Increased programming flexibility will be implemented for the 2006 annual meeting. Ideas for 2006 are needed now, BEFORE this year's annual meeting, so the St. Louis meeting can be as useful as possible for TS members. Submit program ideas via our form, or send them to any member of the Education/Program committee listed below. Submissions are due by August 8, 2005.

Plans for St. Louis proposals will be finalized at the San Antonio meeting. TS is open to collaborating with other SIS's. Be sure to refer to the Program Planners Handbook and visit the 2006 Annual Meeting Program Committee website. Feel free to attend the Education/Program Committee meeting in San Antonio on Tuesday, July 19 from 11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
