The Law Libraries Collection Development Policies web site was created by Rob Richards, Technical Services Librarian, University of Colorado Law Library. Mr. Richards served as editor of the site from 1998-2002.

Description
This site represents a collective effort by law librarians in many countries to create a virtual collection of collection development policy documents for law libraries, and a bibliography of models, standards, and guides for creating law library collection development policies.
The site
- will eventually include policies from a broad range of law libraries: private, court, agency, public, prison, academic, other;
- provides access to collection development policy documents for special types of legal materials, such as government documents; and
- provides access to related materials of interest, including relevant collection development policies for other types of libraries and special formats, and to bibliographical information on collection policy documents in print, collection development standards, and guides to creating collection development policies.
Please add your library's collection development policy to the list, and please contribute citations to model policy documents, standards, and guides that we have not yet listed.
