Enclosed is the written submission from the American Association of Law Libraries regarding the notice of opportunity to comment on the American Bar Association's Citation Resolution, published in the Federal Register at 62 Fed. Reg. 8037.

By this memo AALL also requests permission to testify for 15 minutes on April 3d at the public hearing on this issue. Professor Robert Oakley, Washington Affairs Representative for AALL, will represent AALL. AALL was one of the first groups to consider the issue of changes in citation format, and is well acquainted with all implications of change. Professor Oakley will testify to the issues included in the attached information, and will be able to answer questions regarding changes in citation form of federal decisions. Please contact :
