CHARGE: To conduct a search to identify a new editor for the Law Library Journal. The Task Force will create a job description for the position and will draft a message announcing the search and soliciting applications, which the President will send to the AALL membership via email early in February. The Task Force will review the applications received and will select several candidates for the Task Force members to interview in person in Chicago in early May. If at all possible, the Task Force will report to the President and Interim Executive Director by May 15 with a recommendation of their choice for the new editor. The President and Interim Executive Director will make the final decision and will offer the position to the successful candidate along with a contract stating the terms of employment.
SIZE: The Task Force will consist of a chair and four members. Frank Houdek, current LLJ Editor, and Steve Ligda, Interim Executive Director, will serve on the committee in an Ex Officio capacity.
