CHARGE: The Special Committee will propose an Association-wide plan to coordinate activities of all AALL entities aimed at welcoming and assisting participants at the AALL Annual Meeting traveling from abroad. The purpose of the plan is to enrich the educational and social experience of overseas attendees and to foster closer cooperative relationships with law librarians worldwide.

The Special Committee may include recommendations for new programs or activities, as well as the identification of existing efforts and recommendations for coordinating them. Budgetary implications should be noted. The Special Committee should recommend a manner of notifying participants from abroad of this program.

The Special Committee should prepare a report for the Board's consideration no later than at its April, 2002 meeting, to allow time for implementation at the 2002 Annual Meeting. The Special Committee's term expires in July, 2002.
