The Annual Meeting Program Committee 2001 is pleased to announce that the 2001 Program Planner's Handbook for the Minneapolis conference, "2001: New Realities, New Roles" is now available on AALLNET at

Check out the Handbook for detailed information on the meeting theme, SIS programming, tentative schedule, tips on planning programs, proposal forms, and lots of other good information specific to the proposal process for Minneapolis.

The blank forms for both Program and Workshop Proposals are also available on AALLNET and can be downloaded for your use. The forms are not interactive on AALLNET; you will need to print, fill out, and fax completed proposals to AALL Headquarters by August 14.

Paper copies of the Handbook will be available at the AMPC table in the Activities Area in Philadelphia (in the Exhibit Hall) and at the AALL office.

The Committee Roster for 2001 is on AALLNET and members are available to answer your questions about the program planning process.

There will be an Annual Meeting listserv open in the near future for program questions and discussion. Watch for this announcement!

Don't forget the Open Forum in Philadelphia on Monday, July 17, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Check your Final Program for location.

The Annual Meeting Program Committee for 2001 is eagerly anticipating your proposals to make the Minneapolis Meeting one members will not soon forget.
