As this year's AALL Annual Meeting and Conference approaches, attendees should familiarize themselves with the recently updated information about registration and housing. The Annual Meeting will take place July 14-19 in Minneapolis.


The Registration Desk for this month's AALL Annual Meeting is located on the first floor of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 13.

All attendees who have pre-registered should bring their badges (mailed with your confirmation packet) to the pre-registration counter to pick up badge holders, registration packets and any ribbons that they are entitled to wear.

International registrants, guest speakers and other special guests may pick up their badges, badge holders and tickets at the On-site/Guest Speaker Registration Counter.

On-site registration also opens on Friday, July 13 at 4 p.m. on the first floor of the Minneapolis Convention Center.


The sleeping room rates printed on the Housing Form in the Preliminary Program are the confirmed rates that were contracted by AALL.

The Hyatt and Millennium Hotels have recently notified AALL that they will impose a $3.00 per night (taxable) energy surcharge "due to the energy price explosion." The Hilton has advised AALL that it will not impose an energy surcharge. All hotels in the Association's room block have been notified that it is the Association's position that you are under no obligation to pay the energy surcharge.
