Virtual Lobby Day

AALL’s Virtual Lobby Day is an annual online event during which AALL members around the country send a strong message to Capitol Hill in support of law libraries and legal information. The next Virtual Lobby Day will take place in spring 2019.

The goal of the 2018 Virtual Lobby Day was favorable markup and passage of the FDLP Modernization Act of 2018 (H.R. 5305). On April 12, AALL members sent a unified message to Capitol Hill in favor of no-fee permanent access to official, authentic government information and a stronger Federal Depository Library Program.

AALL members have previously influenced their members of Congress in support of open access, privacy for library users, and funding for the Government Publishing Office and Library of Congress/Law Library of Congress.
