Opening Reception

Saturday, July 14 / 5:00–6:30 p.m.
Baltimore Convention Center Exhibit Hall

The Annual Meeting will kick off with an Opening Reception on the exhibit hall floor. This light hors d’oeuvres and cocktail reception, featuring local favorites, is a great way to network and visit exhibitors without scheduling conflicts—allowing plenty of time for dine-arounds and receptions to follow.

A ticket to this event is included with a full Conference or Per-Day (Saturday) registration; additional guest tickets are available for purchase.

Meet the Candidates for the AALL Executive Board

Monday, July 16 / 8:45–9:45 a.m.
BALTIMORE CONVENTION CENTER EXHIBIT HALL / AALL Member services pavilion

Candidates for the 2018 AALL Executive Board election have been announced. This is your chance to get up close and personal with them. Meet the candidates for vice president/president-elect, treasurer, and the AALL Executive Board to become better informed before the October election. Come with your questions, and find out what each candidate plans for the future of your Association.

Attendee Lunch

Monday, July 16 / 12:45–1:45 p.m.
Baltimore Convention Center Exhibit Hall

Join your colleagues for a complimentary lunch in the exhibit hall. Walk the hall and meet with exhibitors, visit the Member Services Pavilion, and get information on various AALL groups represented in the Activities Area.

AALL General Business Meeting and Members Open Forum

Monday, July 16 / 3:30–4:45 p.m.
BALTIMORE CONVENTION CENTER BALLROOM

Resolutions submitted by AALL members by June 25 may be considered by the membership at the Business Meeting. During the Members Open Forum, which immediately follows the Annual Business Meeting, the AALL president and other officers will be available to respond to member questions regarding AALL and its programs and activities. In addition to accepting questions from the floor, members can submit questions in advance of the meeting.

Association Luncheon

Tuesday, July 17 / 1:00–2:30 p.m.
Baltimore Convention Center Ballroom

The Association Luncheon is a conference favorite, and your chance to celebrate with your colleagues following three days of stimulating programs, exhibit hall exploration, and networking. Don’t miss the chance to honor AALL members for their outstanding contributions to law librarianship, with the presentation of the Joseph L. Andrews Legal Literature Award, the Marian Gould Gallagher Distinguished Service Award, and the Hall of Fame Award.

Be sure to register for this ticketed event by July 1—only a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase onsite. Guest tickets are also available for purchase.
