For those coordinating a food and beverage event at the Annual Meeting, please see the information below for guidelines applicable to your group.
SPECIAL INTEREST SECTIONS (SIS)
Complete the Food & Beverage Order Form and submit by May 15. The information you provide should reflect what was included in your initial scheduling form (i.e., name of event, date/time, number of anticipated attendees, and set-up style).
The menus for Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the Marriott Marquis are provided below. See the conference schedule to confirm the facility location of your event and use the appropriate menus. When budgeting the cost for your food function, be sure to include any service charge, administrative fee, and sales tax as provided for you on the order form. SIS orders will be billed to the AALL master account and later deducted from the sponsoring SIS's account.
Committees do not have funds to order food and beverage without prior budget approval.
Caucuses do not have funds to order food and beverage.
CHAPTERS / AFFILIATE GROUPS / EXHIBITORS
Your food and beverage order should be arranged directly with the facility where your event has been assigned—either the Walter E. Washington Convention Center or the Marriott Marquis (headquarters hotel). See the conference schedule to confirm the facility location of your event and use the appropriate menus. You will be contacted by and work directly with the facility to place your food and beverage order, set up direct billing, and provide final counts. You will not need to submit an order form to AALL.

Note: The Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the Marriott Marquis have restrictions against bringing in any food or beverage from an offsite location to your meeting/event.
